Our Story
Pineapple Sistas Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization inspired by our original Pineapple Sista, Diane “Dee” Martinez Zazzarro. Diane was truly a light and joy to everyone who knew her. She had an indescribable passion for life, family and friends. When faced with the life altering diagnosis of stage four colon cancer in 2021, she looked it in the face and said “not today!” Despite her illness and the effects of chemotherapy, she continued to give back to those in need. Her bright spirit lives on in her three amazing children, Lauren, Anthony and Jonathan, along with her Pineapple Sistas community. The Pineapple Sistas Inc. organization will carry on Dee’s legacy of kindness with our “Pineapple Pick Me Up” delivery for those in need.
