Who We Are
Pineapple Sistas Inc. is a nonprofit organization inspired and founded by our original Pineapple Sista, Diane Martinez Zazzarro. Diane was truly a light and joy to everyone who knew her. She had an indescribable passion for life, family and friends. When faced with the life altering diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer in 2021, she looked it in the face and said “not today!” Despite her illness and the ill effects of chemotherapy, she continued to give back to those in need. Her bright spirit lives on in her three amazing children, Lauren, Anthony and Jonathon, and with her Pineapple Sistas community. The Pineapple Sistas Inc. will carry on Dee’s legacy of kindness with our “Pineapple Pick Me Ups” for those in need.
